LX round slings are made of multiple high-tenacity yarns covered with an endless sheath (type 5). This is then covered with a seamless double sheath of blue nylon, which includes a protective micro-film. A round sling is therefore constructed from a load-bearing polyester or polyethylene yarn that is wound around itself multiple times. The load-bearing yarns never come into contact with the load, and these slings offer greater capacity compared to conventional synthetic slings of similar weight and size.
