2. Myth: Ratchet straps require both a tag and a stencil with a WLL on each of them.
   FALSE. Ratchet straps must be marked and rated with the manufacturer's name or trademark and the WLL in pounds and kilograms. This marking can be on a tag and/or stenciled on the webbing, but both are not mandatory.
